Where do other people end, Pisces, and where do you begin?
With boundary-blurring Neptune as your ruling planet—and transiting your sign since way back in 2011—it's not always easy to tell. But if it feels like you've lost your mojo, 2020 is time to take it back!
As a water sign, you need some kind of “container” to give your life shape. And with Jupiter in Capricorn sextile Neptune (February 20, July 27, and October 12), you'll have opportunities to find one through participation in groups. Whether you're brought together by politics, faith, or some other common interest, you're encouraged to get out there and find your tribe.
True, you've already got a family—and with Venus in Gemini (your fourth house) from April 3-August 7, you'll be enjoying lots of quality time with them. Still, Pisces, the more time you spend with them, the easier it seems to lose touch with yourself. A square between Venus and Neptune (May 3, May 20, and July 27) challenges you to loosen the family ties a little and explore who you are outside the family dynamic.
Fortunately, Mars in your sign (May 12-June 27) gives you the confidence and courage to put yourself out there. You're gaining a clearer sense of who you are—and just as importantly, who you aren't. Boundary issues could resurface around the Mars/Neptune conjunction on June 13, but remember: If something feels “off” to you, you have every right to say no. And don't be afraid to own that “no”—it'll empower you to say a more decisive “yes” to what you do want!
Later in the year, the sun, Mercury, and Venus in Scorpio take turns trining Neptune (November 9, November 23, and December 5). You're supported in going deep and getting real with yourself and others about your beliefs, aspirations, and the ways in which you're feeling called to evolve and expand.
After all, Pisces, being an empath—feeling other people's feelings—is a beautiful part of who you are. But there's so much more to you than that.
Put your best foot forward, Pisces!
With Venus in your sign from January 13-February 7 and conjunct Neptune on January 27, you're making quite an impression at the start of 2020. During this transit, everyone you meet is likely to fall at least a little bit in love with you.
Still, as flattering as it is to be put on a pedestal, you can't stay up there forever. By March 8, Venus meets up with Uranus to serve some radical realness in down-to-earth Taurus. With a sun/Neptune conjunction in your sign on the same day, you're eager to appear in the best possible light, but can't help revealing your true colors. If you're with the right person, though, it will only make you more endearing!
Venus settles into Gemini from April 3-August 7, giving you some extra time to feather your love nest. And it's a good thing, because with Mercury in homey Cancer from May 28-August 4, you and your date may be spending a lot more time there! Still, you'll want to come up with some more creative ideas than your basic “Netflix and chill.”
After all, Pisces, what you think of as cozy and casual could be misinterpreted as not caring—especially while Mercury is retrograde (June 17-July 12). Take some time to set the mood and make the moment special, no matter how simple it is.
Attentiveness is a must from mid-August through October, as Mercury, the sun, and Venus transit your opposite sign of Virgo. With these planets opposing Neptune in your sign, loved ones may worry that you're checking out. This is no time to phone it in, Pisces, the Virgo planets' trines with Uranus in Taurus and Jupiter/Pluto/Saturn in Capricorn support you in staying grounded and present.
Still, if you're not bringing your A-game, expect to get called out on it while Mercury is in Libra (September 5-27, October 27-November 10). True, comfort is one of the major perks of being in a committed relationship—but there is such a thing as getting too comfortable. No matter how long you've been together, you should never take romance for granted.
You're in the homestretch now, Pisces!
With Mars in Sagittarius at the beginning of the year (January 3-February 16), you get a burst of energy to make your final push toward a major long-term goal.
Still, as sweet as the achievement is, you can't help feeling like your work has just begun. The south node's entry into Sagittarius on May 5 can make you so eager for the next big thing, you forget to celebrate your success. Make sure you take some time—perhaps at the Sag lunar eclipse on June 5—to express gratitude and appreciation for all you've accomplished so far.
After all, Pisces, with Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Capricorn, your house of future plans and projects (April 4, June 29, November 12), growth isn't just possible this year; it's practically inevitable! A recurring sextile between Jupiter and Neptune in your sign (February 20, July 27, October 12) provides plenty of opportunities to connect with others who can help take your career to the next level. Keep showing up as your authentic self, and they're sure to find you.
You may be afraid that “yourself” isn't enough—especially in the later part of the year when Mars in Aries butts heads with Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn in Capricorn. These squares (Jupiter: August 4 and October 18; Pluto: August 13, October 9, and December 23; Saturn: August 24 and September 29) trigger fears that success is a zero-sum game. But don't buy it, Pisces—there's plenty to go around, and room for everyone to shine.
In August and September, the sun, Mercury, and Venus in Leo (your sixth house of work and service) will all trine Mars. Stay on your grind, doing your best and brightest work, and you're sure to get your moment in the sun!
